Our Black History book box is the ideal gift for any child interested in reading, history or the lives of Black British people. 
 
In the box is a great historical fact/fiction pairing- 'Black and British' by celebrated historian David Olusoga (short, essential version) and 'Windrush Child' by the late Benjamin Zephaniah.
 
Accompanying the books is an activity booklet  written by a secondary school history teacher, to develop the reader's understanding of the key themes of the books.
 
Also in the box are a set of wonderfully curated extras-  a set of 3 stickers, a bookmark, a small pack of crayons, a notebook (with a blank cover for the child to add their book themed design) and a delicious chocolate book worm. If there are dietary requirements relating to dairy please do let me know. I will substitute for either a vegan chocolate bookworm or a small tin of vegan sweets, dependant on availability.
 
All the items are beautifully packaged in a white box and sealed with our bespoke logo tape. The box is aimed at children aged 9 to 12  although younger and older readers may find the books suitable depending on their reading levels. A great gift for any budding historian!
